Green Hills is Nashville’s older established "affluent hub". Although, the infrastructure is insufficient and the traffic is problematic some of the cites most upscale shopping, restaurants and residents reside in the area, but its strength lies in its proximity to Nashville Hospitals, Universities and the Mall (which continually exceed local and national trends). Mixed use and dense redevelopment are on the rise along with rents. Its popularity and underlying land values have assured its continued destiny to be one of Nashville’s premier pedestrian walking neighborhoods.
